Monaco Pines Ranch has plenty of acreage, with room for expansion. The Ranch offers 2 full-time 24/7 ranch hands, which includes our Animal Care Specialist, plus 2 part-time hands available, to offer the extra special care and attention to detail that every alpaca needs and deserves.

Do you want an alpaca, but don't have the place to keep one? Do you own land, but need time to build a barn. New to Alpacas? Remodeling your paddocks or gates? We can help. Starting in September of 2008 Monaco Pines would be pleased to board your alpacas at our Ranch.

Monaco Pines makes every effort to ensure we maintain healthy and happy alpacas. We interact with and handle our alpacas daily. This not only builds a trust factor, but also allows for much easier handling during vet exams, training, and everyday care.

We have separated pastures, pens and barn area for mothers and their cria. While with us your alpacas have free access waters, hay is provided twice daily, and pellets if desired. Your alpacas are well cared for and well loved while in our care.

Tender loving care with services above and beyond is what you will receive for your alpacas.

Pricing and Terms
Boarding fees are $75.00 per month with a cria by mom's side. Cria's are boarded free for the first 3 months. Any supplemental cria feedings are an extra cost. All regular care such as worming (as needed), toe nail clippings and dusting is included. All Vet bills incurred while at Monaco Pines will be at the expense of the Owners.

All boarded alpacas must be insured and have a certified vet health exam, recent rabies shot, and be negative BVDV tested before arrival at Monaco Pines.

Leasing an alpaca is the quickest start with the least initial investment! For a set fee you may lease one of our quality bred females for the duration (one breeding cycle) of her pregnancy and own the cria (baby) which is born. Once it is weaned -- usually at 6 months old -- you may sell it, agist (board) it or take it home with you.

Traditional:

Bring your female to Monaco Pines Ranch and we will welcome her as if she were our very own. We will then introduce your Dam to our Herdsire. Breeding with our Herdsire will be a supervised and documented in one of our separated breeding pens. We will provide email or phone reports after each breeding. We always encouraged you to visit your Dam during her stay at Monaco Pines Ranch. Once your Dam is confirmed pregnant we will give you a call and then she can go back home with you.

Traditional Ranch Breeding includes the following:
Free 60-day agistment for your Dam.

The Fee for our Traditional Breeding Service is the Stud Fee of the chosen Herdsire.

Additional Details
All boarded alpacas must be insured and have a certified vet health exam, recent rabies shot, and be negative BVDV tested before arrival at Monaco Pines. Any vet bills incurred while at Monaco Pines Ranch will be at the expense of the Dam Owner.

Drive By Breeding: Request More Information

You bring your Dam to Monaco Pines Ranch and we introduce her to our Herdsire. We will monitor the pen breeding, and then you take her home! You then spit test at your farm, and perform the Ultrasounds. Simple and affordable.

The Fee for Drive-by Breeding Service is the Stud Fee of the chosen Herdsire minus 10%.

Mobile Breeding: Request More Information

Monaco Pines Ranch will bring the Herdsire of your choice to your farm to breed to your Dam. This allows you to keep your female on your farm and still obtain a high quality breeding. You ready a pen and your Dam for the breeding, we provide the Herdsire, we both monitor the breeding, and then you spit test your female, and Ultrasound when the time comes.

Mobile Breedings have the following restrictions:
Your farm must be in Texas and be within 100 miles (one-way) of our facility in Levelland, Texas.

The Fee for our Mobile Breeding Service is the Stud Fee of the chosen Herdsire plus an additional $150.00 fuel charge for mileage over 100 miles.

Consignment Sales
How can we help you sell your animals? We can board your consigned alpacas here or you can keep them on your farm. We will list them on our website and market them for you right along with our alpacas.

Female alpacas that are here on consignment for more than 6 months are eligible for a free breeding to any of our herdsires! That gives you the opportunity to let your herd grow while they are here on consignment!

Pricing and Terms
8% of selling price is charged for all consigned alpacas with NO Minimum. If the alpacas are not boarding on our farm please add an additional 5% of the sales price. We charge $75.00 a month board per adult alpaca and $1.50 per day for crias under 6 months. Discounts are given for multiple alpaca consignments. We do require you maintain insurance on your alpacas while they are in our care, or sign a waiver holding Monaco Pines Harmless in case of loss. Vet bills are the owners expense but there's no charge for routine worming (as needed). Your animals must have a certified vet health exam, recent rabies shot, and be negative BVDV tested before arrival at Monaco Pines.
