Monaco Pines Alpaca Ranch, LLC Wanna Paca Leasing Program Our leasing program offers an opportunity to get the most and invest the least. Leasing is a very smart idea for the beginning breeder, herd bloodline expansion, a companionship animal, or the anxious investor. Leasing an alpaca is the quickest start with the least initial investment! For a set fee you may lease one of our quality bred females for the duration (one breeding cycle) of her pregnancy and own the cria (baby) which is born. Once it is weaned -- usually at 6 months old -- you may sell it, agist (board) it or take it home with you. Leasing benefits both new and existing alpaca breeders with or without farm facilities Allows you to get a head start on high quality offspring at less than one-half the cost of purchasing an adult female. Breeding our excellent machos with recognized lineage to our quality females assures you of offspring with desirable characteristics -- female crias can be sold or held as future breeding stock, male crias can be sold or held as future herdsires. Leasing offers substantial tax advantages without the "hands-on" requirements including fully deductible lease expenses and the ability to capitalize and/or write off costs -- we recommend you seek the advice of your tax advisor to define your personal benefits from an alpaca leasing program. A lease contract for a bred female is for one breeding cycle at rates ranging between $7,500 to $10,500 with the bred female and cria to be boarded free at Monaco Pines Alpaca Ranch, LLC until the cria is weaned at about 6 months of age. If additional boarding is required for your cria, then the regular boarding services are available.
Additional charges will be incurred by the owner, if needed, for emergency vet care and full mortality insurance on your cria. We encourage all of our customers to purchase full mortality insurance on their alpacas to protect their investments.
Monaco Pines Alpaca Ranch, LLC offers our customers ZERO percent interest financing for the term of the pregnancy on all lease packages with a 25% down-payment on contract signing and subsequent payment to be determined (individually calculated) throughout the term of the pregnancy. The remaining balance will be payable upon the birth of the cria. Lease terms may start at anytime during the 1st & 2nd trimesters and will end no later than when the cria is weaned (normally at 6 months).
Leasing Terms: The Wanna Paca program is on a first come, first reserved basis. Demand usually exceeds bred female availability. Prices, based upon selection and the date of approval, can range from $7,500.00 to $10,500.00 and upwards (It is not uncommon for a six to eight year old, average female to sell for $12,000 to $18,000).
Monaco Pines Alpaca Ranch, LLC Wanna Paca leases include the guarantee of a live cria birth that survives for 7 days. In the rare event that the cria is not born or doesn't survive for 7 days, then you have the following options:
1). Carry the agreement into the next pregnancy of that female 2). Give you an option, if available, on another pregnant female.
In addition, your cria is guaranteed to be registerable with the Alpaca Registgry, Inc. (ARI) and to be quality livestock.
Upon your selection, you approve and
return our standard, simple to understand agreement, 25% of the lease
amount, and you are in the business. |
